We finalized the adoption of our daughter on Friday (National Adoption Day)!
It was a great day. My father flew in from MT to be there. We had Pop Tart's birth sister and her adoptive family there, also one of her previous foster moms and sisters (she lived with them for 8 months), our roommate, and our good friend who also happened to perform our wedding ceremony. Plus two social workers and her CASA.
I am currently serving on jury duty, so not able to be on line much. For those of you who are not my friends on facebook, PM me if you want a picture. (I can now share them online, but don't want to share one on this message board). Or, if you want to be my friend on FB, let me know that, too, and I'll share the info.

Waffle - she is 10. In odd bits of interesting, she was born just 2 days before C and I got married. It does make her birthday a little easier to remember, right from the get go.
