I'm hoping to get some suggestions on creating/tweaking portions of a custom resume for adjunct positions at a local community college. For now it appears the Computer Science has two classes that might be decent matches and I also want to put some stuff in there for past the Spring 2014 semester as I spoke to a female professor in the engineering department. Only Matlab this semester for that department but they do teach more engineering type things like circuit analysis that I'd be better at.
I'm adding to and expanding my education portion and adding the classes I was a teaching assistant for while at college. Not sure how much detail I should put in. Actual dates I taught? Fall Semester 1984, etc. instead? IDK.
Hoping to also beef up my PSGCNJ portion of the resume as much of what I did might be applicable. Not sure how to address the teaching, course re-design done while in the training committee and the SQL class I was helping design while on the Tech committee.
Here's current snippets: MS, Electrical Engineering (emphasis on computer software/hardware) BS, Electrical Engineering (emphasis on computer software/hardware)
CLASSES TAUGHT AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT Introductory Pascal and Fortran Digital Logic Design Computer Architecture (dual level Course)
And (lame, but lots of phone calls so this is as far as I got) Co-chair of training committee 3 separate three month terms leading teams as large as 40 plus members Trainer for Networking module, Technical committee Helped create Powerpoint format for consistency across all 5 modules. Taught and redesigned course(s) while under NJ DOL and later as a non profit organization.

I would list a "Teaching & Adult Education Skills" section at the top of the resume (like a bullet pointed skills summary section) and make it a 2 column section: - Trainer - Neworking Module, ABC company
- TA - Programming Languages, XYZ University Note: listing Fortran dates you, so don't put that detail up front.
- TA - Digital Logic Design, XYZ University
- TA - Computer Architechture, XYZ University
- Trainer - Job Seeking Skills or whatever the modules were (I think you said you were doing some classes for the PSGCNJ)
- Training Curriculum Development, PSGCNJ
I would not be highlighting in the resume that your TA experience is 20+ years old. The resume is to provide enough info that they want to see you. The application is the appropriate place for gritty details.2 pages max. on the resume. Google Search for adjunct teacher resume examples - they might be the most current intel on what works: coverlettersandresume.com/education/adjunct-faculty-resume-sample/Why don't you sign up as a substitute teacher for mathematics? You could get work nearly every day if you can put up with Middle & High School kids. That would give you more teaching experience + pay better than the job you don't like!
