Just another creation story- but of course this one is true versus the numerous others.

What I really like is that the story of Adam and Eve is just about the same in the Koran   (Except for original sin- which the men in the other religions blamed on Eve)  That's right- Islam blames them both- the rest blame the woman. Adam is just a poor victim

I find it hard to distinguish L. Ron Hubbard from the people that wrote the rest of these holy books.  I am betting on Zeus

I think Christianity blames them both as well, but like Islam it appears Adam is given more of a pass than Eve. Eve is tricked by the serpent which apparently less forgiveable than Adam being tricked by Eve. Adam is sentenced to working for a living and Eve to pain in childbirth.
(I bet if a woman had written this, she would have given more of a pass to Eve being tricked by a being she didn't know versus Adam supposedly being tricked by Eve who he did know.)

My guess is the wine thing in the Koran is there to make alcohol a bad thing that should be
avoided.

That's the whole idea of religion isn't it?  To legitimize whatever the people in charge say?  I just love throwing facts at the hardcore Christians that think they have it all correct and wrapped up- especially a lot of that hardcore right that have no clue what an Abrahamic religion is but are 100% certain Muslims are the enemy.  Bubba- they your Bubba.
