Wow! #9 cropped is perfect!!! I love the variations of greens in it and it just glows! That may have moved up to #1 to me now or tie with #1 uncropped. But I still don't like #1 cropped at all. It ruins it to my eye. The layout of the mountains and the dip between the 2 look less contrived to me in #1. Cropped takes away the natural beauty and the way you captured the light. Also - the smoke (no longer looks like clouds) kind of becomes too noticeable in the cropped version and kind of dominates the photo. Before it was more subtle. I also loved the clouds and sky on the left. Now it's gone. It's a shame there are power lines in the other mountain photo because otherwise that one is pretty impressive too. I love the house/cabin nestled below amongst the trees. But, again, I'm clueless to what is considered the right way of doing photography. Now, can I buy #9? Good luck and please let us know how it went!

Let me put them closer together. Something is just bothering me about the cropped ones. Are they blurrier? I'm so afraid I'm going to steer you wrong with my opinion! ETA: I still love it when not cropped but the one in post #63 is my favorite out of all the cropped versions since it's closer to the original. I wish others were still up to give their opinions. But I felt strongly about it enough to comment so I did. You'd email it to me? Awesome! I'll PM you.

you're right, it is blurrier--but that would probably happen to either one when I change the size to email it, I'm afraid... I have to reduce the size, and then it makes it blurry, so I have to try to sharpen it, and then when I save it, the file size is huge again, or much smaller. *sigh* I'll figure out the resizing better eventually, just takes practice (or a better program) I guess.
ETA: I'm still going to try to sharpen it up again before I send it...
