There is a massive fire on the Seaside Park Boardwalk, on a section that had survived Sandy. It's just devastating!

I think I was thinking of Seaside Heights. I don't know if I know where Seaside Park is. Hopefully they'll get it put out soon. That is a big fire.  |

Seaside Heights and Seaside Park are right next to each other. This is such an emotional blow. |

Its a huge fire. Looks like they don't have enough fire trucks to hold much of it off.
Hopefully it will rebuild and be better than ever for summer 2014.
And it is also sad seeing all that ocean water nearby while the buildings burn. Too bad the
thunderstorms that were supposed to be here now weren't down there to douse the flames before it got so big.

Just saw Christie on the live feed. Sounds like they have a firebreak plan.
The front has made it here already. Hopefully it will be down there soon and
a help.

I believe concrete firewalls, going down vertically under the boardwalk as well as possible concrete base with boardwalk on top might have hindered the fire. They planned for a hurricane, but not a fire. Short sightedness, imo |
