Wow, I thought that had been settled a long time ago. I'm always grateful when a bad guy dies because the system is designed to let him out to do it again. This ends the bad system.

This outcome was expected when it was first discussed here partially because the child was only 5 years old. The real test of this permissible deadly force law will likely happen in the future when adult victims or near adults are involved.
In this case I think another ranch hand witnessed the attack and told the father. Most rapes aren't witnessed, so how will the victims prove deadly force was justified?

What's TX got to do with it? But the real point is that since this one green card carrier is a rapist we should err on the side of caution and presume anyone on deck for some amnesty program is probably a rapist as well. So this thread is for kicking the crap out of Mexican immigrants-ok- so with the exploding violence against whitey coming from all directions what's a person to do? Found that special group to join up with yet where you can prepare and live with your collective fear yet? SPLC has a long list of some in your area.

I think given what can happen- let's see...I don't know-- a 30 day sentence for an admitted child rapist ( www.cnn.com/2013/09/03/us/montana-teacher-rape/index.html ) this is a preferred outcome and sends the necessary message to would-be offenders-- victim's age notwithstanding. Texas has a pretty decent reputation for either directly, or via a liberal definition of self defense and the defense of other innocents- indirectly closing the loop on violent offenders. Honestly, out in the middle of nowhere Texas- the 5 year old girl isn't the only one lucky there were witnesses.
