Ruchus Misch, bodyguard to Hitler and last surviving witness of Hitlers end in the bunker in Berlin in 1945 has died at age 96. news.msn.com/obits/proud-hitler-bodyguard-rochus-misch-dies     He operated the comunications system in the bunker in the last days of the fighting for Berlin.  He was a member o the Leibstandarte (Hitler's personal bodyguard) and served Hitler personally for 5 years.  I would guess that marks the end of a period  as there are no more living eyewitness to Hitler's end.
