PAINESVILLE, Ohio - The Lake County General Health District will be cooperating with the USDA in the annual vaccination of wild animals against rabies.
Bait containing wildlife rabies vaccines will be distributed in rural areas of Lake County by airplane starting Tuesday. This vaccine targets raccoons and skunks. Officials said the previous vaccine was not very effective on skunks.
