I've been watching Al Jazeera-English for years. Their coverage of the Arab Spring, Syria and Egypt has been far better than the BBC or Sky Investigative journalism is also pretty good.
but you can't see it in the US any more.....not even on the live feed and to me this is a problem.
Its import to gather news sources from lots of different places to have a true understanding of what is going on in the world.
but do you really need a station all to yourselves that no-one else can see?

I have occasionally streamed it and watched it online. However now that they are charging for it I won't be watching it.

Comcast cable in my area had an advertisement for this network the other day. Said station 107. Thought I would give it a try. Turned to 107, and had a message "not available".

Oh, forgot to say, I would consider this station before I would ever watch Al Gore's network (that he sold) as I would honestly believe Al Jazeera would be a lot to the right of Al Gore politically speaking.

Its supposed to be impartial...Though there does seem to be a bit of hysteria from those who haven't seen it.
You have lost the live stream for Al Jazeera-English and not everyone can see the new station. Seems like you have lost out tbh

AJ is approximately were American Journalism was in teh 70's. unbridled questioning of TPTB, no matter who. it shows how conservative our media has become.

Had another ad on Comcast for it this morning. Tried channel 107 as advertised. Television had the "not available" screen. Al Jazeera better check their ad money. Not getting their money's worth.

I don't watch television, so read Al Jazeera online. I like them for a different view.

Sure, I'll watch it. Right after Qatar airs TBN.

I found Al Jazeea far more honest in their reporting than any American news.

I found Al Jazeea far more honest in their reporting than any American news. that is precisely what i think. they play their cards. they hold nothing. but i am not a regular viewer. most of what i know i learned by watching THIS (highly recommended):
