the only people you can't put on ignore are moderators, zib. if you're missing that button for anyone else, then there's a glitch in your system. you should give moon and/or Virgil a heads up if that's the case.

click on the member
go to tools on the upper right side (the cog thingie)
a menu will appear
scroll down....and choose block member
i recently blocked one....found out how to do it
their posts will never show unless you then click on it

I don't have them either. I didn't actually notice I was missing them. I'm on Firefox 23.0, if that matters.

you need to click on the member's name and go to their profile. then click the cog, and choose Block Member from there.
you will still see posts by that member that have been quoted, just like before.

I heard back from moon - apparently it isn't a glitch. my bad.  the actual IGNORE button went away with V5. in order to block the content of posts, you'll have to follow the instructions given by gdgyva above. ETA: posting at the same time, I see.  |
