When I signed-on to my computer this morning, there was a small screen I'd never seen before with hotmail address in it and a request for me to add it to my Contacts List. No name or anything else for me to verify the owner - just the address so of course I declined the request. I've never seen one of these screens before - it didn't look like the standard Windows Live Messenger screen, so I'm not sure if it came through there. We have PM and Mail here too, so I don't think it's anyone from this site. Has anyone else ever had one of these screens displayed on their monitor?

I get those in Yahoo Mail sometimes. I just decline.

Thx J - that's what I did. I was curious about the screen too. I haven't seen one like that before. It wasn't the standard Windows Live/Hotmail layout.

Yeah -- that's how they show up in Yahoo too -- it's a little box that slides up from the bottom, almost the way those "we value your opinion" boxes do.

I wouldn't worry about it. IMO the ones I get on my computer screen are not that odd. The ones I get in my head sometimes can be a bit odd at times though.....
