I think I'd like a balance, when it comes to Moderators, actually. Ideally, one person from the clear left, one from the clear right, and one in the middle (somewhere) ... all of whom are fair, not thin-skinned, and with great wit and senses of humor.

I voted more to the right, but was looking primarily for people I didn't think would be heavy handed in attacking people they disagree with politically. I didn't have an opinion on some of the choices. I would have voted for Dem is she ran because she seemed pretty even handed on the other board from what I have seen so far. Dem was definitely left leaning.

I wondered how long it would take before someone suggested this method. Having been on moderated boards before,In my opinion,some right/left bias creeps in,not only in who you feel is a good mod,but in mods approach to posters also. But,that is just my opinion.
