I think when you have done well in life it becomes easy to assume others must be at fault for their lack of success.
I get really torn. I think the fast food workers protesting for higher wages are idiots, I think occupy wall street was mostly pathetic people that needed to get their lives together, but at the same time I realize I have been very lucky in most aspects of my childhood and that is why I am where I am today.

I agree with Angel. I didn't have the best of mothers but I sure as hell knew what would happen to me if I got pregnant or didn't behave in school or in public. So the rest rather fell into place.

Interesting article. pbp posted the same AP article on another thread ( EXCLUSIVE: SIGNS OF DECLINING ECONOMIC SECURITY,). There was a paragraph in it that isn't included in Deminmaine's linked AP article. The missing paragraph (there may be a few more missing but this one stood out) in Dem's linked article is the following: It was then followed by this paragraph which is in both pbp and Dem's article:
I am still waiting for pbp to respond to my question about his posted conclusion after both of us read his link. I also wonder why the paragraph was left out of Dem's link.
