Stick with what you want damn, I have stated quite a few times over the last year that the market has pulled way ahead of the US economy. You're clinging to something you were wrong about years ago. Good job on being the broken clock though, you find your right twice a day.

The Market from the begining of time has been goods and services traded back and forth with a bargin between traders that both could agree with. The Fed doesn't trade anything except the value between currency's of different people. A trade as simple as, I will fix your fence for 5 of your apples on your apple tree, has a value set for time and effort from both sides. Currency between Countrys only go so far as to that Country currency has any value to it. But a market could still be made without currency just with goods alone if the Buyer has something that the Seller wants. The Fed has nothing to do with any of these kind of trades. IMO there would always be a Market of some sort without the FED to Mess it UP.

And if there wasn't a FED anymore, I would be in Energy big time because it would only be a matter of time before I would have all of the Gold in the world without owning any of it now. LOL

Yeah, exactly, Ty. Gold was on the way out as a form of payment because of the growth of freedom thanks to the USA. Fact is that is if, Nixon - the politician - wouldn't have dropped the gold standard, Gold would be worth like $200 bucks right now - at most. Aside from the hilarious second link which is full of inaccuracies and myths, great pages that show why the FRB - even with its imperfections - is an integral and very important part of the market place. It doesn't make it, but it sure has helped create a stable monetary base for American business to become the largest in the world. Oh ya, keep buying energy is great advice.

Markets are always the same...it's your perception to events which change I always thought is was a change of events that changed ones perception? Take for instance the market is down and gold is up! Just my perception! Right now your wrong. That can change by tomorrow. For now though, it sucks to be you!
