I've never really thought about it. I have a completely forgettable face. Not attractive enough to notice, not ugly enough to be worth commenting on. As long as I don't take wardrobe advice from PeopleofWalmart.com I should be good.

I have the good fortune to have achieved invisibility. I am an unattractive middle-aged woman. No one sees me. It is very liberating. Not so liberating that I don't, you know, comb my hair and wear clothes and stuff.

No, but it's not particularly hot either. There's a reason beauty ads say look ten years younger instantly, not look middle aged instantly.

Not so liberating that I don't, you know, comb my hair and wear clothes and stuff. I highly doubt that, Dannylion. We are our own worst critics. And there nothing wrong with middle age! Oh, no, no. This is true. My equally middle-aged female friends have noticed it too, even the fairly attractive ones. People just do not see us. We're trying to figure out a way to parlay our invisibility into superhero status or possibly a lucrative career of some sort. Unfortunately, most of us are too tired and stiff to be able to carry through with any of our ideas. Being superheroes seems to involve more running and climbing and other energetic activity than we are actually capable of maintaining for long enough to be effective. You are kind to try to boost my morale, but really, I'm not an attractive person. It's okay. I'm fine with it. I do the best I can with what I have to work with and just get on with my life.
