No, no, no. We are NOT researchers. We're research administrators. We don't get to do the fun stuff, we just get to do the work- managing the budgets and making sure there aren't conflicts of interest, and that all compliance measures are being taken

Can you stay an extra day for sightseeing? There are lots of interesting things to see and do in DC. I was there the other day for a workshop. Planning a trip to the Zoo later in the summer.
I'm not going to your conference though. |

No staying extra for me. I'm new at my job and don't have any vacation time built up. As it is, I am flying in a day early to NC (instead of DC) so that I can visit my grandfather.
