But there was no proof in my case which is why I was VERY lucky and got away with it. ... At least so far you appear to have not suffered any adverse consequence for this act of vengeance. Sometimes karma is instant but other times ...   |

evt what sexual crimes by minors do you consider serious? just because they are a teenager, they get a slap on the wrist? or what would you consider to be FAIR punishment for her crime....or do you think she committed a crime? Rape, sexual assault, and others including child pornography. That's a tough call on the crime- because there isn't really a good law that fits it other than the one charged. She did not set out to create 'child pornography' as the law was intended to apply to. A fair charge would be a misdemeanor, followed by diversion & probation, and the potential to have the record expunged. As was said- 3 idiots involved in this. Just don't think it was bad enough to ruin anyone's life over. |

That makes a little more sense why- except for the felony charge/life stigma as a sex offender. I wonder if they plan on finding out which kids were in the photo and charging them with sexual battery- or is it only in cases when one turns 18 or pisses off the parents like the other case. FL laws need some work. Well, I learned from the Judge in the Trayvon Martin case that there is absolutely no way at all, ever, in any instance, to ever, ever, ever know for sure who took a photo, or put anything on your phone.  EDIT: So, in other words, the state's key bit of evidence ought to be inadmissible.  |
