Laser is also not an option for the blondies. Only works if the hair is darker than the skin.

...Do you pluck in between sessions? I'm a daily plucker and usually get them waxed about once/month to maintain the shape. The downside to this method is I can get my eyebrows waxed on a Friday and by Sunday I'm tweezing 10+ hairs because their growth cycle meant they were too short for the wax to pull them out. My brow person suggested I try to get all my hairs on the same cycle by not plucking for three weeks and then go in for a wax. The wax will get all of them out - and then I'll be in the clear for 2-3 weeks and won't need to pluck them ever as the waxing sessions will get them all. This sounds GREAT, except that I'm now 4 days post-waxing and I have 20+ black hairs all over my eyebrows that REALLY need to go. I don't think I can wait three weeks. So, if you wax do you not pluck? I can probably convince myself to just stick it out if it is indeed worth it, but it still seems like I'd end up plucking. Plus, don't you then have the issue that you are walking around with eyebrow whiskers for a few days every three weeks? Follow you brow person's suggestion (no plucking for three weeks) but wait until November 1 to have them all waxed so they are on the same schedule. That way you can get dressed up as Frieda Kahlo for Halloween.

Like single, I don't think they to laser on eyebrows...to close to eyes. My at home one I can't use above cheekbones.

Good grief! Reading all this, I'm glad my eyebrows are fairly thin and fine and don't require shaping. I have maybe 6 hairs I have to pluck out about once a month (used to be more often, but more of them are grey now).

I'm going to get my eyeliner tattooed on as soon as I can justify the expense (which honestly won't take much at this point). I'm thinking lip liner potentially too. I want to look like I tried without trying.

I get my eyebrows threaded.
I don't even know what that means. I have pale, nearly nonexistent eyebrows. I once plucked the clear, nearly unseeable hairs between my eyes when I was a teen. Hurt like hell, not doing that again. Occasionally, I draw eyebrows on if the occasion seems to warrant them.

Nevermind. I looked up threading. It's just a different, painful way of ripping our your eyebrows.

I last had my eyebrows waxed a few years ago and I've been just plucking since. I could use a reshaping, but I'll probably do that about a month or so before the wedding.
I'm lucky to have light, sparse body hair, so waxing isn't a necessity for me. Even in the summer, I only shave my legs every couple of weeks.

I would love to get my legs lasered. The hair below my knee is so dark & thick. I hate it. Yup. I have the Silk'n SensEpil. I love it. I went from needing to shave my arm pits every day to sometimes going a week (still only part way through, so sometimes I'll hit a spot where I've got more hair, but either way it's still now several days between shaving). I'm not as far along on my legs, but I can go several days now without needing to shave. Actually I just shaved last night, it's been 3 weeks since my last treatment and my legs are still smooth. Before my legs wouldn't be smooth 24 hours later, I'd feel stubble. The only negative is if you're doing arms, legs, bikini line you go through the lamps in only a few treatments, but still worth it. My friend got one too, she hasn't been able to stick with the treatments as well because of $ issue but she also really likes it and can't wait til she gets the money to keep with it.

I don't think I like you anymore Eh, I used to be envious of other people's good luck with various body parts. But now that I'm older and have known many more people, I've realized that even if you get lucky in one area, there's bound to be something else that's weird. So maybe she got lucky with the body hair thing, but she probably has cellulite on her tushie or an oddly shaped head that she has to hide with an elaborate hairdo... Even the ones that look perfect everywhere you can see have something not so nice going on somewhere about their person, it's just in a place that's hidden. Moral of the story - don't be envious. Be grateful for your good stuff and wish her blessings for hers. Just think like the Southerner do, "Bless her heart!"

My hair situation is all I have going for me!

Rae - I have seen a lot of it up close over the years and personally I would not have eyeliner, eyebrows, lipliner or lipliner done permanently . The first reason is that the colors change and fade over the years so that they have to be re-touched which noever looks right. The second thing is that make up styles definitely change over the years and after a bit it just looks dated and wrong. Application techniques, colors and such vary over the years - ever seen the lady who wears cateye glasses with a dated updo? lol - not good!
I have had my lashes dyed before and that looked good.
One other thing I just remembered - as we age the shape of out faces and features changes meaning that different applications look best. Permanent cosmetics don't allow for the fact that we lose fat/collagen and stuff droops moves.
IK have been a medical social worker for over 25 years so I have seen "everyone" bare faced and I have never seen it look right. Also, I love make up and am visually oriented if that makes sense.
