I am going to see if I can make it until August 1st just buying milk, eggs, fruits and veggies. I want to get my pantry and refrigerator cleaned out. And hopefully save some money by not buying any more food since I apparently have way more than enough.

There are typically at least 1 week but sometimes 2 or 3 in a month that nothing interests me at the grocery store, so we just eat out of the fridge, freezer, and pantry. I love it because I'm using up what we have on hand, which is the whole point of stockpiling. I think the longest I've gone without going to the grocery store is 3 weeks -- but we have no kids and we don't drink milk. However, then when I see another good price on something I feel compelled to get it to replenish the stock I've eaten up in the last few weeks. It's a vicious cycle, but it's nice to have good quantities of food around for when we have people over and I can just make something instead of going out to eat. DHs cousin and his girlfriend are here a lot on weekends. They eat out almost every meal because they live in NYC and it's just become second nature to them. They love to get a home cooked meal and we love having no pressure to go out to eat, so it all works out in the end. They bring the beer, we do the cooking, and we call it even.

Thanks for starting the thread here ilovedolphins! I will definitely join you. Since I am so bad at keeping track of receipts and $$ spent, I will just post what I buy. I already posted on the other thread on YM, but will repost here: Deli meat, quarter pound, for a couple lunches at work this week. 3 pkgs Thomas' English muffins (buy 1, get 2 free) 2 half gallons of ice cream

I will definitely do it for the rest of the month, but the first couple weeks of July, I may have to take a pass as mom and her SO will be here from FL for several days. Today I will eat an English muffin with peanut butter for breakfast. And we have food at work Monday mornings for our staff meeting. Lunch will be a ham and cheese sandwich, a few chips, and some strawberries. Snack is usually a granola bar of some sort stashed in my drawer at work, if needed. Dinner will be steaks on the grill I thawed out this weekend but didn't cook yet, sautéed mushrooms from the fridge, baked sweet potato from the pantry and some sort of veggie I have here, either canned or frozen. ETA: The steaks are from the quarter cow I get every year.

I am in to try and make it to August 1st just buying milk, eggs, fruits and veggies. I may get some hummus though. It is a big snack food for my DS. So today breakfast was a poptart. Lunch will be a salad, yogurt and an orange and for dinner I am thinking salmon patties, mashed potatoes, corn and bread.

I also failed. I didn't buy anything to bring home but I did buy a small bag of Fritos and a soda for $1.50. But still I wanted to eat the snacks I took from home to clean out the pantry. I will try and do better for the rest of the week.

Still not purchased any food! Day 1 down. Didn't have salmon patties for dinner instead we had spaghetti and baked potatoes. My DH and DS had deer steak . So for today I had poptart for breakfast. Brought leftover spaghetti for lunch and pretzels, yogurt, and an orange for snack. We may just eat leftovers tonight or I may go ahead and make yesterdays meal.

Still doing pretty well. I haven't been to the store since Tuesday. I made pasta salad today with everything I had in the pantry and fridge already. I pulled a few hot dogs out of the freezer but they must've been in there a long time. I cooked one for lunch but it tasted freezer burnt so I threw them out.
I pulled out some boneless pork chops and a chicken breast to thaw for meals the next couple days. Not sure what I'm making with them yet but will figure something out.

Still doing good. Just got back from the grocery store. Other than the paper all I bought was deli meat for lunches at work this week, some grapes, an ear of corn, and a package of hot dogs (on sale for .99). I had a partial pack in the freezer but I went to use them yesterday and they were freezer burned so threw them out. Only other things I will need this week are milk and soda and I am going to buy them at CVS or RA cuz I have rewards to use and nothing else I see in the ads this week.
Gotta go think about meals and snacks for the week since I'm trying to eat out of the pantry but also eat healthy/do WW.

I went to the store Saturday and bought a few things we needed: Eggs, hamburger buns, hummus, koolaid, bag of salad, sour cream, sugar, bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms. Mostly stuff for lunches this week.

I told Momma Bear we needed to eat out of the pantry and her response:
BUT THERE'S ONLY BEANS AND VEGGIES IN THERE!
(I think a 3 yr old moved in....)
I will be utilizing my big Dale Jr cooler for school so I can make sure I have water, juice, snacks and at least one sandwich with me. My classes I plan on taking at the campus are 5 1/4 and 4 1/4 hours long, so I need to be prepared- especially with me being diabetic.
