Tell us something slightly crazy and out of character, that you would love to do this weekend…but you won’t.
Me (no, not a threesome)…I’m almost embarrassed by this, but I would like to go bird watching. I find birds endlessly fascinating. I don’t know why.

Get three rescue horses, but I really can't. Bobby, I think bird watching is cool. I'd love to go with out with you. Why not try it ?

We're going to the Ren Faire. I'd go as a pirate, but the costumes some people wear are really elaborate and probably cost a jillion dollars. Maybe I'll get a cardboard crown and go as The Burger King.

Going to Bass Pro Shop to pick up our little boat for out at the property. Nothing fancy. Just a little V-Hull Jon boat that we don't have to worry about out there and that's light enough to pull up to the property and leave out there in the rain. Then we'll play in it on Sunday if the weather ever clears up. Windy, rainy and crappy out right now. ETA: The crazy part will be going out in that weather in our little boat and I don't normally hang out at Bass Pro Shop (not brass prop shot).

Drive for an hour just to check out a new farmer's market on Sunday. I am actually nuts enough to do that, though.

Some of both. I can leave DH at home and go shop in peace on Sunday. He'll have a NASCAR race to watch.

I would like to go on a hot air balloon ride. I've wanted to for years. But it's really expensive and I'm terrified of heights. ..
but I still want to do it...... someday.... when I get brave.... or drunk.

Well, I'm doing a 5K obstacle course tomorrow (20 obstacles like leaping over fire or climbing 8' walls or commando crawling in mud, etc.) I've never done anything even remotely like this before, so I'd say it's slightly crazy and out of character. But hey, it's my midlife crisis and I'll do what I want.

The bird watching sounds good to me!
I'd love to rent a pontoon boat, take it to the middle of a lake in the middle of nowhere, & just relax, read a book, & maybe even go fishing. But that won't happen. My to do list is loaded with things that need to be done.

I'd burn my whosis. And an eight-foot wall is three feet taller than me. That's almost another whole person (OK, if the other whole person is a midget). Oh, and good luck, BTW.

We're headed to the cabin for the month of June. I'm hoping for a boring, uneventful 8 hour drive tomorrow with DH in a good mood, little traffic and no car sick cats! When we get there I hope to find the place in reasonable shape and on Sunday make good progress on the fire abatement work. I'm hopeful this trip we make good progress on the chore list the first two weeks and that I can enjoy the last two and get some hiking in. With the tenant problems I had last year I had to leave early and make a second 1000 mile RT to southern CA. Please, can I have a boring, relaxing trip with no tenant or more MIL drama? Please, please?

Build a giant rail gun. Something that could fire a 2 kg slug at at least 1000 m/s.
I'd build it somewhere that I could safely take shots at test objects like old buses, refrigerators, furniture, etc. and obliterate them in single shots.

I'm not afraid of flying- but going up in a woven basket FREAKS ME OUT. Just thinking about lifting off makes me light headed. But I still want to do it. Before getting into the basket, I thought the lift off would be the scariest part since taking off in an airplane turns me into a white knuckle hanging onto the arms and not breathing till in the air type of a flyer. But the lift off was so smooth and peaceful and before you know it you are just up in the air and the rest is just plain peaceful.

Something crazy and out of character that I won't do but want to? Go to the bar and hit on guys. Lots of guys, and just have fun. BUT, I'm too damn shy, and if I want a boyfriend who doesn't hang out in bars all the time, I shouldn't try to hit on one there (and I'm lame, so I'm more into having an actual bf than a one-night thing). But, it still sounds like fun.

And one-night stands aren't my thing either.

I have some serious "crazy lady" dreams too (my life is just way too "responsible"). I want to get all dolled up in a wedding dress, then run around a mall somewhere. Walk up to random people and ask them odd questions. Just spending a day being completely bizarre and watching people's reactions.

This weekend was a wine festival I wanted to go to, and pay for VIP access. I opted not to because I'm in the home stretch of debt payoff.

You picked the wrong weekend. I am in the middle of Spring (now Summer) Cleaning. I. Hate. It. So. Passionately. That. I. Tell. Everyone. I. Know. Seriously, shouldn't stuff take turns getting dirty? I cleaned the blinds over my kitchen sink today. For some reason, I have never looked at them since I moved in way back in 2004. That's embarrassing to admit. Every other set of blinds I have cleaned every year, but I never looked at the blinds over the sink before now. I will make them #1 next year on the list. If I had, I would probably have moved. They are now cleaned, but I lost at least an hour of my life. One set of blinds was that hard to get cleaned. I will never ignore them again. Know what is really sad? DH will get home from Phoenix and not noticed that the (a) carpets have been cleaned, (b) everything washable in the house including the dog has been cleaned, and (c) the closets have been cleared. He will ask, "Did you manage to paint the mailbox?" Um, no.

For some reason I always clean the blinds and windows to all but this one window. I don't know why. I just always stop at that one. Next time I move the chair away from that area to vacuum maybe I'll finally get to it. Or not.
