LOL - we have had that experience. The best was when my son's kindergarten teacher called us and said "In 20 years of teaching - probably 450 students, I have never once had a child say that their favorite food is broccoli - until your son."

We all must have weird kids then - my son did something similar at Thanksgiving dinner one year. While waiting on the hot food to be ready, everyone was snacking on the veggie trays. My son (around 6 at the time) came up to me and several other family members and asked if he could have some broccoli. I told him sure while the other members just stared at the HUGE plate of raw broccoli florets that he came back with. He ate every piece plus had turkey and fixings with everyone else. They all commented that they wished their kids ate half as good as my son did/does.
Just for reference - he's 5'10" and weighs 125. His pediatrician always asks about his eating habits and it's always the same - the kid eats me out of house and home. I wish I had half his metabolism.....
