VB improved a bit for Place, but still lacked nearly 8-1/2 lengths.

My horse closed in Show, back another 5 lengths, with clarkrl2 the only other positive finished, another 4-1/2 lengths back.

It appears next week is going to be a hard call. Hmm, short or long?
