Is that a 4x4 you're driving, while hunting? The numbers makes sense to me, stage one of all this seems to be setting in, per the attack in London today. These events mixed with the escalation overall in the Mid East, leaves us just a bit higher than now in the markets by fall 2015....With stage 2 setting up behind that, per Japan missing export targets even though they have printed and printed a couple days back and China's manufacturing contracting today. Long day, time for sleep.
God Bless u Bruce.

A+++, I keep the Rifle in a very strong gun case.. that way they stay true to the sighting. We had a scope go "bad" on a WinMag 300 ..missed two deer at 250 and 300 yards.. Took both out with a 30-06 and Better 15x with BDC scope.. The Scope was just knocked off.. btw I put 3 in a quarter at 300 Y with the Winchester 70 30-06 using Barnes 150 load...The group could not believe the 30-06 could out shout the Win-Mag 300 Sorry no glass packs on the Ford....No heavy duty six.. My first Chevy had a 302 I6 (from 2.5 ton GMC)and a four speed..1954 with everything heavy duty..used to pull my brother's 57 Chevy to the track ..45 mph.. due to the trailer speed law in Texas at the time.. I paid $295 for the truck in 1966...It sold again last year for $18,000 ... he did put some money it it but used it for years free!!! Just a thought, Bruce

Bruce, So that means the shotgun is in the gun rack then? I should have known the rifle would be in a case, like you said nothing worse than a scope that is out of sight. 300 Y is an amazing shot overall, mind the wind eh? I hear you about the inline 6, my Gramps had a 53 with 3 in the tree, I learned to drive in that good girl. Not sure what happened to it after he passed but the engine was one thing I always remember him talking about. I don't think it was the military grade one though, even though his truck was a 2-2.5 ton. Hydramatic transmission is like Hyrdostatic drive right? Like, you have a petal that goes forward and back and you pick your gear from a standstill?
Is your new F-150 the Ranch King? Later, A+++

I told her yes but the best you can do on targets is a dollar pattern for two rounds of bullets at 50 yards(450-400)..I like my Winchester 458 better for big game hunting..tighter pattern!!!three in a quarter at 300 yards the 302 was military and sealed so it was good for crossing water..a beast with a gun rack...now you have done it..

You sure that she wasn't trying to be your girlfriend B? There is usually a few good farm auctions around that have some real old stuff... Like you said the engine will always be good, and it would be cheap if the truck was in rough shape.... I have seen some nice Jeeps with submersion pumps rolling on 24s...

A+++, Back to the investing side of this deal..Truly the price of the pickup rose some $18,000 from the deal I made to the deal made by the person I sold it to but if I had left the original power (261) INTO THE TRUCK IT WOULD BE WORTH ABOUT $40,000!! YES IT WAS IN GREAT SHAPE AND PULLED A RACE CAR VERY WELL BUT IT WAS NOT ORIGINAL... IT WAS SHOW ROOM PERFECT EXCEPT POWER...

Bruce, Been a busier weekend than I though it was going to be... So what you're saying is that something like this... Could fetch up to 40k if fully restored?? He says it's the 2 speed, which means it has the automatic hydraulic Hydramatic transmission.. Thought i'd look that one up.. Hope you had a good weekend,

When introduced in 1953, the Corvette featured the "Blue Flame" six cylinder engine. This is not as the Chevrolet engineering team wanted things, but they had no choice. Although other GM marques featured V8 motors they were not willing to share; a very different situation compared to years later when various divisions would feature the same powerplants. It was renowned for reliability but with a rating of 105 HP, performance and sportiness was not included. The engineering staff responded with the usual engine upgrade methods. A more radical camshaft rubbing on solid lifters, dual valve springs, and a higher compression ratio cylinder head (8.0:1; previous was 7.5:1) all contributed to the effort. The largest gain was achieved via an upgrade to the induction system (right). Three Carter type YH sidedraft carburetors featuring "bullet" air cleaners with an aluminum manifold were incorporated and the output soared to 150 bhp at 4,500 RPM. yes my power was 40 hp greater!!! sorry I do not have a pic.. they made 300 Vets in 1953

JUST A MODEL..HAS NO FEELINGS ONLY NUMBERS... BiMetalAuPt I have looking at rides Ford f450 at 66,000 or a new vet at $109,000 ..both with super charged v8 and air!!! Engine - 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel engine (standard on F-450)The 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel is built by Ford to deliver power, efficiency and quiet operation. The available Ford-built 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel is designed from the ground up to deliver power, efficiency and quiet operation. The graphite iron engine block is stronger yet lighter than cast iron. Aluminum cylinder heads with precision dual water jackets reduce weight and improve cooling. Inboard exhaust and outboard air induction architecture helps reduce turbo lag. The class-exclusive* single-sequential turbocharger uses the compact, efficient design of a dual-sided compressor wheel to help generate maximum power — and deliver it quickly with 30 psi of boost. Another great feature is the high-pressure common-rail induction system which, operating at nearly 30,000 psi, delivers up to five injections per combustion cycle for optimum throttle response and fuel efficiency, as well as reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). What’s more, the Power Stroke is equipped with instant-start glow plugs for quick start-ups, even at extremely low temperatures.

Bruce, If you get the f750 with the CAT engine, you can load the Vette in the box and haul it everywhere you go... Isn't that the dream really?? Hope you had a good Fathers Day my friend. A+++, How about a 900 hp Man super heavy tractor and go Ice Road Trucking.
Total risk is up with higher ten year tNote. Ten year slop also increased MMXV by more to above return for the USA and German stockmarket. Getting 12.33 from EU growth Just a thought, Bimetalaupt

B, You see a ton of those up in these parts, lots of ice road truckin in the winter that is for sure. Im sure a few of the outfitters have them. We'll see about EU growth, I find it interesting that over the first six month of the year things just kept getting worse over there.... But ya, EU growth, mixed with slow growth out of the US would be enough to pick the markets back up in the last part of the year. On the other hand, I think higher interest rates are something that not many people have been thinking about, and I think there is some major complacency with low rates. Look at the rush out of emerging markets, there is going to be a real wake up call when the next chapter in all of this starts. God Bless, A+++
