Scientists think they've created the smallest drops of liquid ever — the size of only three to five protons. The droplets were made inside the world's largest particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland, where particles are sped up to near light speed and then smashed together. When researchers collided protons with lead nuclei, they were surprised to find that the result was teeny, tiny droplets of liquid. The rest of the article is here: NBC News

As do I, Sugi. The Large Hadron Collider fascinates me. I'm always interested when I find news of what they're finding and achieving. I may not understand it all, but I want to learn what I can.

Yeah me too, I love what they find although I might not know about it outright, I read and learn.

For like a fraction of one percent of the price of the Large Hadron Collider they could have made it rain in strip clubs plenty of times. I'm thinking that would have been a new discovery for the types of folks likely to work at CERN as well.

I don't think you're allowed to make it rain bazinga in strip clubs. They bounce you for that kind of thing.

That's probably because of the Quarks. Everybody knows you can't trust a Quark!

Would you go out with a Quark ? Would you trust it as your neighbor ? These are important questions, maybe not.
