'Humpty dumpty sat on the wall and humpty had a great fall. All the kings horses and all the kings men, could not put humpty dumpty back together again.' But they were able to keep the market pumped up as the debt grew more, and more, and more, until POP! Meanwhile those so called debt notes made from paper proved worthless when being tried to be collected upon as the massive amounts of debt they held proved to be just that in the end run and virtually worthless like bananna republics elsewhere. Through a working structured society with honesty and dignity to all is what makes or breaks a country. Nothing more and nothing less. Quote: Feb.11,2011 end? U.S. labor force hasn’t grown since 2008 Call it the Mystery of the Missing Workers. Since 2008, the American labor force--that is, the number of people either working or actively working for work--hasn't grown at all, The Economist reports, looking at Labor Department numbers. That's not unusual during a recession, which typically leads some of the unemployed to become discouraged and give up looking for work, or to retire early. At the other demographic end of the labor market, recessions can also prompt some young people to go to school instead of entering the workforce, The Economist explains. But things usually turn around during the recovery. This time, however, that's not happening: Since the Great Recession officially ended in mid 2009, the "participation rate"--the share of the population in the labor force--has continued to decline, especially among the young. But the problem appears to have deeper roots. In the 1990s, the labor force grew by 1.3 percent a year. Last decade, that figure dropped to 1 percent. And the Congressional Budget Office predicts that over the next decade, it will grow by only 0.7 percent. Taken together, the slow growth of the labor force and the low participation rate mean that the offiical unemployment rate, now at an already high 9 percent, underplays the actual rate of joblessness even more than such official figures usually do. Â That's because the official rate doesn't include workers who have grown discouraged and stopped looking for work--and that number appears to be unusually high. Decoy
Article doesnt say...
Has ANYONE taken into consideration the amount of people who have begun to work for themselves?
My wife opened a catering business...and is doing splendidly.....but i am sure she is one of the ones being counted as NO LONGER looking for work
How are these people accounted for? Or are they? Do they eventually end up in the report as self employed?
It is probably not a HUGE number...but i know there are some....

I have heard of the workers who want to work under the table for cash also...so they can still receive other government benefits...ue, welfare, etc
But my question involved the self employed....if you arent aware...that is fine
Just thought i would ask to see if you did know

So this is actually great news! Why is it so great??? Well it's great because as long as things continue to fall apart (and really start cascading in just weeks from now), well I can be the market guru as well and claim and yell and scream MARKET UP! PROFIT UP! After all, if I do that, that shows I simply don't give a dam about anything but...the market! (no Decoy will never be like that!)
Take the bottle out of the babies mouth now. Let's see where the market stands. I want to see and so does MILLIONS of others calling for the same.
