I heard it on a television interview. I have reported what I heard. I am the source. You cannot be "the source" for something you know nothing about, paul. Well, you can ... but there's a name for folks like that. We're hearing the same stuff on local radio (as I type). Multiple nude women in the back yard on leashes, woman waving for help from basement, woman with baby in partially covered window, etc. I can't locate a "print" copy (link) as of yet but I'm sure something relative to these reports will surface shortly - either supporting or refuting it.

I agree, kent. That which is being reported will surface on the internet. It usually does so pretty quickly. As I see it, it's best to leave these things as allegations, rather than stating them as facts, until there is some confirmation available to back up the story. People reading have a right to expect some confirmation of anything claimed to be "a fact".

Well, I'm not a cop so I guess I don't have the requisite experience to suggest that they keep a record of all tips, complaints, reports that come in so that when you get one, two, three reports of strange goings on at the same address, you can start to watch the place. On the third complaint, would it be completely out of the realm of possibility to use probable cause to enter, and/or get a warrant to search the premises on the suspicion of domestic violence? One thing I know for sure is- two witnesses reported that the police never even showed up. I'd personally like to know what else the police where doing? The police are saying they don't even have a record of ONE of these alleged complaints / reports. LOL! Right! I'm sure you'd feel exactly the same way if a couple of your neighbors decided they didn't care much for you and started making telephone calls to the cops accusing you and your family of all sorts of dastardly deeds. The cops, upon finding your house empty a couple of times, decide to enter on "probable cause" (probable cause being a couple of disgruntled neighbors). Yeah. That's gotta be the ticket. Right, and that's no different than if those neighbors called child social services about abuse (without any evidence). Social Services have been known to take the kids away because of such things...and they still can (no one's exactly fighting for change in it). So, you see, those neighbors already have ways to screw with each other...why not one more? It's the liberal progressive way

You don't know diddly. What you're regurgitating here is just hearsay, at this point.

The only part of Cleveland that I am vaguely familiar with is in the area of Case Western U and I did go to the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, years ago.
I have some distant relatives there…you know, second cousin twice removed sort of thing. I’m not sure that I would blame this entirely on the CPD, as much as I would on a certain mentality. This neighborhood is a little down on its luck, and the then girls were abducted in the vicinity: marginalized people in a marginalized area…so the police make assumptions, false assumptions as it turns out.
Charles Ramsey is da MAN…I can’t get enough of this guy. Not only did he step up, he tells a story like few can. At the very least he deserves an all you can eat at McDonalds, for life (be careful what you wish for), and his own reality tv show. Or maybe he needs to be a recurring character in that Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli “Hot in Cleveland”sitcom.
I love that man, what a great human being. It is a happy/sad ending.
Which one is the bitch that kicked out her son at 14, moved to Florida (all the wackjobs move to Florida) and probably hasn’t thought about her daughter in the past ten years…what a sorry mother she is. And the beat goes on.

I will contradict you when you don't provide evidence. You have now provide unconfirmed evidence there were three naked females in the backyard. Now about your claim a hand seen waving but of a basement window. At this point, ALL the evidence is unconfirmed. I nailed you. Take it like a grown up. Yes, it is unconfirmed but it didn't seem to slow you down from running with it...

It's interesting to note which posters habitually fixate upon the lurid, sordid rubbish... they're the ones that Big Media is pandering to (as they chase advertising revenue). Some people hear headlines about this kidnapping story, shake their heads in disgust, and move on. Others... wallow in every despicable detail. ick.
Double ick.

reports are starting to trickle out on Twitter that Ariel Castro committed suicide in his cell. He was found hanged. www.bbc.co.uk/news/23955379#TWEET878077I haven't found a full article with a link yet, just "breaking news" bits.

Wow he wasn't as strong as those three women he held hostage for ten years. He couldn't even be held a month and he cracked.
It's all over Google.

I don't believe for a minute that his brothers weren't aware of this situation.

I don't believe for a minute that his brothers weren't aware of this situation. Look at it this way: we won't have to pay for his upkeep and the hostage he forced to have his child will not have to worry about him suing her for child visitation rights. He also got what he wanted: his freedom. It's win-win-win all around.

or the penultimate example when the cops gave Dahmer one of his victims back.
they cited "bad area", "gay area" told to "not get involved" in gay love spat issues.

I feel bad for the guys that locked him up and didn't take ALL precautions to insure this didn't happen. Despite how rotten this guys was, they will likely spend a lot of time thinking about how they might have done things differently. I speak from personal experience on this one but at least it had a better ending because found him hanging just moments after he did it. We transported him to a hospital and then he went to a psych facility for evaluation. Hadn't thought of this incident in decades. <<we screwed up by not taking his shoelaces - duh>>

I'm sure the authorities "allowed" this piece of offal to do himself in. It was going to be that or general population taking care of him.

Of course that's a possibility but I doubt that's how it went down. To knowingly allow him the "opportunity" to hang himself (by leaving bed sheets in his cell) could likely lead to consequences for those responsible for his care. You'd think he would have been on a suicide watch with no "tools" at his disposal.

He was supposed to be observed every 30 minutes 'round the clock.
