I haven't seen many threads about real estate here. Maybe if you start a master thread for real estate matters, it would show what the level of interest is. Someone started one called Business Central for discussions relating to small business and entrepreneurial stuff. You might use that as a model to find out if the overall interest level about real estate issues would justify its own sub-board.

I agree - RE is an investment - similar to the markets 1) values gain or fall 2) Rent is equatable to dividends 3) Expenses for RE - are like management fees for Mut Funds 4) Both need watching over 5) You can make or lose money - based on timing or other conditions
