Aww, don't feel bad for Phoenix. All it means is that he hasn't has his life force drained by some soul-crushing succubus yet. I say more power to him. If he keeps it up, he'll look like he's 25 when he's 60. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/smiley.png) But what fun is that? He'll still have all his money and his stuff and no one will dirty up his razor and...oh, wait a sec... ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/lightbulb.gif)

Yes but ex prisoner friends make up the great wild stories prior to them going to prison. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png) It's been a boring ten years. And not all ex cons are lowlifes. They are people that have just done things not completely on the up & up. Folks that never got locked up, just never got caught. But if you all say you have never done anything bad, your lying. How many of you have done drugs? I have not, but good grief I have enough of other things on my list of things I ain't proud of.... My teenage years were my favorite time because it was always an adventure. Plus I always had money back then. I worked during the day, had very few expenses and could easily fund my lifestyle. And for some reason, I needed very little sleep back then. Two hours a night and I was good to go. Now ten hours is not enough.

Speaking of losing your virginity. Last night's "New Girl" was easily the best episode ever. And it was all about losing your virginity. Hilarious! Does it hurt for the guy?

Well if they don't want to share them here; I, as faithful moderator, could take a story from doxieluvr and a story from cawiau via PM, and judge which is wilder.

I owned up to my one-drug use.
I never mentioned the notion that cons, or ex-cons were all lowlifes. Many are because they decide to make crime a career, inside and outside of prison. But many people get caught doing something dumb and desperate first time out. They were not doing it as a criminal lifestyle; sometimes, crime happens out of stupidity, desperation and lack of education and common sense. Not saying it's right, just pointing it out based on experience in working in the system.
Of course you always had money "back then." You had no financial responsibility to anyone, including children. No four-wheel fleet of crap cars, no questionable boytoys to support and few bills, since the Bank of Mom/Dad was still hoisting you up higher than a construction crane working a skyscraper.

Oh I have plenty of stories from my misspent youth. I was also smart enough to A. never get caught. B. make good grades at school and participate in sports and academic activities and C. get accepted early admission to my first choice college. So Yeah- I'll take my boring youth over prision time any day of the week.

Since I'm a criminal defense attorney, I know lots of people who have been to prison. They generally aren't the type of people I wanna hang with. Most of them aren't very bright, or they have serious drug and/or mental health issues, or they are sociopaths. The myth of the poor down trodden inmate who was wronged by the system is just that, a myth. You generally have to work pretty hard to get there by being caught and convicted of at least two felonies.

Do you want to check this one off the "to do" (snicker) list, do you want to wait until it is mutually meaningful, or do you want to wait until it is legally binding. All are great choices, but they impact the referrals you get.

I don't know why your post reminded me of this joke from 33 years ago. During the 1980 Winter Olympics held in Lake Placid, NY, housing was extremely scarce-a major problem. So the joke went: Who's a ten in Lake Placid? A three who owns a condo.

Just a funny, but the verb 'to do' in Romanian Is face, and the 1st peron present tense is fac... Yes, that's how it's pronounced.

I was 19. Later I married him, because we had "done it" and I felt that I was stuck with him.
Thankfully, I have since rejected the teachings of my youth.
I spent my early 40s doing what most folks do in their early 20s.
Edit: No, wait. I was 20.

14 And Doxie, I can bet you my 401k my car and my house downpayment that you don't have any wilder stories than I Deal. I could use a bigger 401k and a house fund. You can keep your car. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png) You sure you want to go there? One of my closest friends just got out of prison in February. And he was not the only one I know there) Big deal...I've had several family members in jail...only I don't it is something to brag about. Then again, I can't choose family.
