architecto25 thank you for your comments regarding my selection. I know you are a technition while I am more of a fundamentalist. I like to screen for stocks that have beaten earnings estimates for their previous quarter and have had recent upward revisions in estimates for the current year and for the next year. I will then look for a stock that is in an upward trend. The upward trend for RAD has been in place for longer than what I normally like for my picks but I hope it works out for you. Analyst Estimates from Yahoo.

Of course I do not consider myself to be a qualified investment advisor but I have been tracking the results of my picks using this technique. I intend to share them on a new thread and hope you and others will drop in and comment. As a quick summary I have been using this methodology for 26 straight weeks. This has yielded 4 wins, 6 seconds and 6 thirds. The average return was 4.27% with a high of 23.67% and a low of -2.54%.

   29 employees.
   It's had a very nice run, past week & half.
   I owned it a few days last week; probably
   exited way too soon.

Architecto ...... what goes on? From a BIG Monday (1st) to a SAD Wednesday (last), beating me out of the position. Running backwards is not a good omen in a horse race.

   Mod, read my post #10 again, might explain. I bought RVLT monday of last week; sold it on
Friday.....made a little over 50% in 4 days; but picked it for this week's contest.....really not
knowing if the horse was going to be fast, or he'd just start trotting. I should have stayed in one more day; and sold monday.....but we old men are certainly not perfect,....are we?

     All the 30 dow industrials are in the green.
     ......but I'm an old man, I've seen some Fridays when the 
     market turned south before the day's over.
     The Dow's point and figure chart will get a few more X's.
