So, everytime I click on anything on this board I get an advisement that Malwarebytes has "dicovered and prevented" a malware problem.
Anyone else?
WHY?
How do I fix?

Yeah, me too. It's been doing it for 2-3 days now. Sort of irritating in a minor, Friday afternoon sort of way.

I'm not getting anything like that. Do you have Malwarebytes installed on your computers?
Ack! Nevermind. I misread advisement as advertisement in the OP.
Apparently, Malwarebytes is finding something it doesn't like on the page you're viewing. My guess would be the advertisements placed by ProBoards. You might check to see if you can get Malwarebytes to opt out for this site if the advisements are really irritating.

Well FWIW, the last time I clicked on the flashing Malwarebytes to "learn more" about my supposed problem, I ended up getting a virus instead that completely took over my computer. I had to wipe out my hard drive and start over. Thank goodness for backups. It "looked" legit, but I got caught. I suggest you ignore it or quarantine it for deletion. I do NOT suggest that you open it!! You might also want to contact the Malware people to let them know this is happening (again). It hurts their business when folks use their trusted name to plant viruses. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/angry.png)

Huh, I kept getting a message from the state Office of Technology telling me they'd blocked the webpage because of malware. I thought crap, they're onto me! ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png) Wonder if it is the same thing.

What I'm getting is definitely from my Malwarebytes, not from an outside source. When I open my MB and check the activity logs, I can see the multiple instances where they have blocked the "potentially malicious website" over the last couple of days. Yes, probably the ads and this too shall pass. Like the angry bear.

Not sure if it would help, but you might try erasing your cookies. PB will check your cookies and use them to track what sites you visit and then make their ads match. If it is an ad that has been tailored for you, getting rid of the cookies might get rid of the ads that are causing it. I'm glad I bought that DSLR camera, because it and the merchant I bought it from are the only ads I've seen here for a week. This way, no temptation ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/grin.png)
