Since I hold some TPI will do some "wishful thinking" to hope for a little rising progress this week. Probably a waste of time though.
So, TPI (Long) Tianyin Pharmaceuticals (China)

I am going with the pick I wanted last week, but didn't get in. Fly Leasing, FLY long. The company leases aircraft and has been soaring lately.

2&10, had you had an inkling of today's events, bet you'd have gone SRTY and be out 30 lengths in the lead. Wonder how tomorrows follow-on will turn out?

Quite a turn-around this morning. Will the sobriety last? If the upturn continues, 2&10 picked correctly. Hope for a few more weeks of the good times before the wsummer doldrums begins to set in.

That's the thing with URTY and SRTY... they're fast horses. The trick is getting their noses pointed in the right direction!
Another thing that makes them hard to ride is they can gap overnight on you. (Or over the weekend.) So, if you pick one over the weekend, it can gap up (or down) quite a bit at the starting block. So, even though you pick the correct direction of the move, you can't capture it because it gapped so much at the open.

It's hard to figure tht TPI is up there after today's market revival. Still a long three days to go.
I understand the jump starts that can unfortunately find the horse far back in the pack as a full day's run progresses. Been there, done that. Hot starts and and big fades. Can apply to the week or just a day, it's all guess work.

MOD,....those traders that are short; or have bought Puts are probably smiling ear to ear. I just looked at the Point & Figure chart for the Dow.....right now, I'll hold any prediction. Major top? just consolidation? Will continue the uptrend? Let's put some slips of paper in a bowl........and draw one out.....LOL

Wonder what happened to TPI suddenly... maybe some bad news only the insiders know? The other China stuff was not too bad. The one's in the barn just biding their time. That's the way the old coolie crumbles.

Sorry I haven't been playing guys. It's called SPRING and all kinds of work to do in our 5 acre front yard! I've planted over 60 plants already and have a bunch more to do tomorrow. Then it's building a raised veggie bed and scrounging for goodies to go into it like horse manure, compost, soil. And then I'll have to plant it! The bricks that border my beds all around the house need reset....that's going to be a whopper job! And DH still expects me to do laundry & cook too! Maybe I'll make it back next week....I'll try!

ModE89 TPI only traded 25000 shares which is about normal volume but at $0.60/share that's only $15,000. If someone decides to unload a lot of shares that could cause a big drop in price. The upside is if someone decides to buy a lot of shares the stock should go up significantly.

It was an up/down week, but TPI came through at the wire. So nicely surprised. You gave me a good run. Good thing TPI had a long snout. Congrats fo you for Place and uncle for Show. At least, we had a positive close.
