Tonight, I had a couple glasses of wine, and then replied all to a group email about our neighborhood board. I think our board does some ridiculous stuff, and once again, they are doing the opposite of what I would do. My reply was snarky, but really I was asking for clarification because the original email made no sense.
After sending it, I realized what was probably happening. I was thinking it was sent by the member of the board, so it appeared contradictory. But I think it was sent by an outsider, who was basically tattling on the board. Either way, it could have been a more clear communication. And I stand by my response to the email. However, I probably look pretty a-holeish. (Is that a thing?)
What things have you done that the minute you did it, you knew you shouldn't have done that? Or even knew at the time you shouldn't do it, but you did it anyway? Did you tell someone off at work? Did you send a nasty email? Did you pick a fight at a family reunion? You guys must have some juicy stories that are worse than me making fun of our neighborhood board.

Well, I made my boss's daughter cry last week. She's an adult who can't really hold a job/doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up. She recently got a job with a government educational agency that kind of sub-contracts for our school district. She played the daddy card in addition to running around making a ridiculous deal of nothing all while trying to blame me for something that didn't exists. When I politely called her out on it, she tried to pick a fight with me. I wouldn't let her do that either, and so she had a melt down about how she hates confrontation. I'm still waiting for my boss to say something about it.

I usually think "I should not have done that..." after eating something unhealthy... Like today for lunch I had Braums chicken strips, fries, a pop, and an ice cream cone...Now I feel like crap. Fast food tastes good and makes my body angry.
