This flu stuff sucks. I've been down for nine days now, haven't been able to get to the gym (too tired) and so far I've lost 17 pounds. I'm going to put myself on a steady diet of milk shakes and fluids for the next couple of weeks to try a gain some of it back.
The good side is I think my body fat has reached an all time low, but I know it's not healthy. I just haven't felt like eating lately and can almost feel myself melting away (especially at night).

Sorry you are feeling so crappy, Tractor. It will get better, but I felt the after-affects for 5 weeks or so. Remember to try to eat small meals several times a day. Don't try to eat a full meal yet. Maybe half a sandwich or a boiled egg. Keep hydrated.

Feel better soon! DH had the flu a month ago, took tamiflu, and still has a mild fever on and off and an elevated white blood cell count. This one is nasty.

with this last round of flu, at work, i don't think there was one family untouched by it...makes you wonder what will happen when something more serious than the flu comes along...

Sorry to hear, Tractor... Glad you are well enough to post.
Virgil doesn't think the flu is that bad. Are you sure you don't have ebola or something?

Get well soon.
I know this pun will suck but at the Oscars, the announcer told the audience. For those of you who gave yourself the flu two weeks ago, good job.
