I dunno how to tell y'all this, but way back in the way back I read a book by Vance Packard called "The Wastemakers" and he assured us that we'd run out of aluminum (and therefore, aluminum foil) before the turn of the 21st century. I'm still reusing aluminum foil whenever possible

And yup, I wash out the plastic bags and reuse those, too. Haven't figured out yet how to reuse paper towels and plastic wrap.

One of my BILs is a logger. He's all for using paper towels up and pitching them. He calls it job security since the trees won't be gone until long after he assumes room temperature.
