DH and I saw it this weekend. It is one of the best movies I have seen in a long, long time. I highly recommend it!

DW and I saw it over the weekend, too. I never heard of it before my wife said we should see it. It was good. Not my normal type pf movie, but it was well done and a good feel good story.

I don't like Bradley Cooper's personality (looks however not bad lol) and only rented this movie because of the Academy Awards and De Niro. Very good movie. IMO the reason it was good is because it matches Bradley Cooper's real life personality and I think he was very much playing himself. The whole therapist in the corner of the living room was an interesting overlay to therapy.

I'll admit - this move is NOT my usual picks from Netflix. I added to my list because of Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper was in another movie I liked and thought they make a good team. So I added to my Netflix list and saw this movie about 2 or 3 weeks ago and scored it 4 of 5 stars 'really liked it' Jennifer Lawrence is attractive! watching her bounce around during the dance practice scenes - NICE! other than that - yes good story helped me with my own new craziness? because before I lost my close best friend I was sane! but now that she dumped me I'm crazy! (but without the needing to take meds part - LOL)  well that's how I see Silver Lining Playbook - about two people that were in relationships where their significant other was there world, their life, their happiness; and that person was taken from them. and then they went a little? bit crazy! until they found each other and hopefully their relationship can balance them out!  yes - agreed good movie! |

i saw it on dvd and it was an ok movie nothing fantastic..Jennifer lawrence did a good job in it but i dont think she should have won the oscar..
