Will go with ARR (Long) this week. (Armour Residential REIT Inc.)  Well, at least with a 14.55% yield, perhaps some folks will pick up some. Money still on the cheap for REITs. |

Ombud, I think the strong buyrecommendation you are referencing by finviz is the average analystrecommendation of those covering ACET has a strong buy rating on it. Thedefault sorting is alphabetical by ticker symbol. Maybe you could try a fewmore criteria and sorting by some fundamental metric.
A free easy to use screener is stock scouter at MSN. Try looking at the 10 rated stocks. Select the fundamental grade and valuation grade boxes. Also select either volume or market cap box. Click on the Volume or market cap box to sort by that category. Look for 10s with a high fundamental and valuation grade. Then research any stocks you think look interesting. Here are the top 15 sorted by Friday's volume. This is not a recommendation but a suggestion for a starting place for your own research.

I did not highlight Goldman Sachs. I tried post without any stock being highlighted but this was the result. Pesonally I would start with the 10s that had and A in the fundamental and valuation heading. So my pick of the litter for a starting point would be CA however I do not own this stock nor do I have in intention of buying it in the near future.

Yes, kadee, good question. More gloom as the politicians continue to keep everyone on the edge of their seats.? Time to short? If we drop over the fiscal cliff, how far will the market correct... 10,20,30%  Caution often is the better part of valor. Preservation of capital is often the best policy. We shall see.  |
