I amended and paper filed my 2010 & 2011 returns in early Dec 2012 and Jan 2013 respectively. I am expecting fed refund in both cases and haven't received yet. When I check 'where is my refund' online, it says my returns are not found. What is my next step?

It takes 8 to 12 weeks (or longer) for an amended return to be processed. Where's your refund is only good for current filings.

IRS expects to launch a "Where's My Amended Return" application on irs.gov in March 2013. See What's New on page 1 of the Instructions for Form 1040X.
