DH got paid and we were able to pay off a smaller loan ($1200) in full. I've already scheduled the payments from that to snowball on to our next debt. I just realized once I get paid I will be able to send almost $300 to the next debt because of this extra boost + the previous min payment. YAY! This snowball thing is FINALLY starting to work for us (and not in the opposite direction - ha!).

Thanks It kind of makes me sick to my stomach to think about how much we pay on debts each month. But it is nice to see those balances melting away.

I totally get that. this morning, I caught myself planning what I'll be doing with my bonus when it comes in next month lol... what I've decided on is to wipe out whatever's left of the interest-charging balance that I built up over the fall, pay down the 0% that will reset in the spring to a round $1k denomination before transferring again (got a sweet xfer rate for another 0% promo rate) and I will be putting the rest in the savings account I have ravaged recently for major car repairs and a VERY unexpected mortgage escrow snafu. what I'll be paying out for debts each month is going to come WAYYY down.
