Long RAD (Rite Aid Corp. - Retail Drug Store)

The last quarter they had a surprise profit. Also they have had recent upward earnings estimate revisions. The stock has met resistance in the $1.40 range. The price to sales ratio is .05 and price to free cash flow is 4.82.

I have been following SVU or as I refer to it, Special Victim's Unit, for a few months.
It jumped last week on buy out news.
SuperValu Inc. has been plagued by bad management decisions, the last one being, purchasing losing supermarket chains, and now will face the same result. I do believe at this low price, they are undervalued, but I am hoping the buzzards on Wall Street will jump on the carcass this week.
I think there is a possibility it will go higher this week, so I will go SVU, long

Gasp! Really? Now if only TPI comes out with some really good news in the next two days, we can ride this thing to the moon. Oh well, so much for a nice day. Only 4 more to go.

Tyfighter is only a few lenths behind, and I can almost feel he's riding a fire-breathing dragon. Might singe TPI's tail if any closer.

Amazing, TPI could not find any traction today and still in the lead. Market must be biding time, and stocks just waiting to make their move. Just cannot stay on top by treading water and getting nowhere. Feel big change on hand for tomorrow's run. Believe Ty is about ready to give his horse a whip or two and charge into the lead.

Three days and still running... must be some sort of karma for TPI (so far).
Expect that it will have problems finishing strong by Friday's close unless TPI can release some deal arising out of its presentation at the One Med Forum in SF the last two days.

Tommorow TPI likely will trip at the start of the last leg of this race. This is so unreal, just have no confidence of a good finish, so seldom for a China-based production stock. Appears VB's SVU will take over the lead, since Ty fell back.

Ohh, my "special victim's unit" stock looked good going into today, but is down a little this morning.
The private investment vultures are picking the carcass clean this week, buying up many of the grocery retail chains SVU owns, and have the option to buy into SVU stock, surprisingly, at a higher price than it is currently at.

ModE89 managed to hold on for his wire to wire victory and over 21% gain. ValueBuy's late charge also produced a double digit return and was good enough to hold off a hard charging uncle23 who became the third double digit gainer for the week. After an inauspicious beginning there were seven who finished ahead of the benchmark.

This is truly unbelievable. Won by default cause nobody went short in what has to be "one of those weeks." It will be a long time before this occurs again. Are Chinese U.S. listed stocks beginning a long term recovery mode.
