My husband and I are on a joint plan, during January to March I used my phone as the contact for our rental. Is the extra cost of my phone deductible for those months? Also, the phone is the contact number for the tenants, is it deductible for the rest of the year?

Other than the cost of calls related directly to the rental property, based on the facts noted, more likely than not you cannot deduct the phone costs described. If the phone was dedicated to the rental. (and it was only used for that purpose) then you could deduct the entire cost.
