This is another pick from my earnings surprise screen. They have a lot of cash and a low price to book ratio.

"Per"
Sandridge Permian trust
I do not have a reason or plan at this point, but I will go long on "Per" this short week of trading, where anything can happen in either direction.
Or nothing will drastically happen in either direction at all.
The stock markets really abhor a vacummn, and Congress fits that description to a tee this year.

The chart has a good uptrend that started mid-Nov.
An opinion that I ck. has all green (Buy) except for
one short term hold.

The BenchMark set a high figure today with only 3 pickers beating it. But, tomorrow is another day. The compromise bill actually turned out very moot. Gee, tax breaks for NASCAR, Hollywood and others stuffed in there with no way to track what politician was guilty of such dstardly deeds. As usually American politics have not changed for the better. The smell out of D.C. is like a sewer. Yuk. (I know, but a slap at the politicians is duly warranted in regard to the fiscal cliff thing that affects out investments.)
