Not a professional photographer but I've been to wakes where family pose near the open casket. I think it's awful. But every family has their own custom. Who am I to judge?
Where did you get your spaghetti sauce recipe from? Do you love it? Have you passed it on to another cook?

my red sauce recipe came from my Nana. I don't make it often, because it requires also making meatballs, which I have no use for. I just want the sauce lol... I haven't yet passed it on to another cook, but would if anyone asked. it's not written down anywhere either.
have you ever had to train your replacement? how did that go?

Are we talking Barry White deep?? But to answer, I don't think I really notice a man's voice unless it is really "high" so guess on scale of sexy I have no measurement!!

Our county has a fire ban, so no city sponsored fireworks anywhere. DH and I discussed it, and won't do much because it's a "school night" and we have to work the next morning. Have you ever purchased your own fireworks?

Travel with a certain rock group in whatever capacity needed. What do you do to stay cool when temps start to soar?

Answer - oh that is funny! stay indoors under the air conditioner. of course. comment - lets rephrase that question. the hot temps caused the power to go out. question - what do you do when the power is out in your neighborhood?

Depends on the weather …… Here in Phoenix summer we move as little as possible and find the hand fans. Winter we put on a sweatshirt and just keep going. No generators
In Michigan we had a natural gas generator and when the power went out in the whole NE quadrant states around 2005 we stayed home. Because no traffic signals worked we didn't want to get into an accident. Couldn't go shopping anyway, all the cash registers and credit card readers were on the blink. We ran an electric power cord to our neighbors home so their sump pump and freezer would keep working. It was an interesting couple of days
With all of the depressing news around, do you still get a daily newspaper?

DH will pick one up, or I read it online. I read the entire comics page, then skim the headlines. I feel it's important to know what is going on in case a client or business associate brings it up. I can then say say I skimmed the headline, but didn't read the article, and let them talk about it. Do you ever get dizzy spells?

Dizzy spells-- off and on, ever since I was little. I used to pass out any time I spent too much time in the sun. During hell year at work, I'd get anxiety attacks that would have me feeling incredibly dizzy for a few minutes. I haven't really had one for a few years now. They suck though, especially when you're on top of a ladder!
When it's hot I turn on the Central Air and hang out in my room more (my basement bedroom is nice and chilly in the summer).
I'm mentally and pretty financially prepared for retirement, I just have to wait to get to my required minimum age! (I really, really, really hope an early out magically becomes available in my late 40s or early 50s, but I won't hold my breath).
At this point, if a job required I showed up, I'm not sure I'd change my job. I have so much free time with mine that I cook, bake, crochet, quilt, sew, and watch movies on the job. Now, if there is a job out there where I can do my hobbies and either show up less or get to do them all over the world, I'd be in (the only bad thing about my job is it's at the same location every time, I don't get to travel around.)
Any good summer plans?

Comment: yea! I have similar such freedom with my working schedule. in addition to going about at will with working. I am over paid! meaning other businesses don't pay as near close to what I am paid for the same job title. those two factors makes it so difficult to leave. LOL but currently the mental stress of the current work office environment is getting too far out of hand reach.
Answer: actual plans for summer are none or cancelled. because the transmission in my SUV broke! paying for that and having to pay in cash has wiped me out! however if that did not happen. I wanted to stay at two bed and breakfast places near by the water in NJ and NY.
Question: are you actually sad to see Toy's R Us and Sears going out of business?

Toy's R Us …….. no . While they had a good selection, I found them to be over priced. Sears I will miss because they have been around forever. We've bought a LOT of things from Sears and K-Mart
I foresee a lot of store closings because everything can be ordered from the net. The white-collar professional people don't have time and don't want the bother of mall crawling. As a blue collar worker, mall crawling was a good time waster, especially during the holiday season.
What is your favorite type of museum?

Cultural/historical, followed closely by natural history. I could spend a month in the British Museum and still want more time there. But then, my dream job, if money were no object, and there was actually a job to be had, is Museum Curator. Of course, I would have needed to get a different masters degree than the one I got.
The lack of jobs in the museum field was one of the major reasons I didn't go that route. What rare job would you like to have, if the job was actually available?
