A - The windows are good. The blinds that cover them is another story!
Q - do you have a morning routine that starts like clock work?

I do have a morning routine, but it starts whenever I manage to finally wake up. In true Sparty Slacker Shack fashion, I hate mornings. How much willpower do you feel you have?

Depends on the situation. Chocolate = zero ....... although about 12 years ago I gave up chocolate for the 6 1/2 weeks of Lent, and I was successful. Eating more than I should, I don't have a problem with saying enough. Most of the time I can say 'no' to spending frivously, especially clothes. I'm not a clothes horse but DH is. I do like theater, and if I find a show I want to attend, I'll do my best to get tickets
What is your favorite type of reading material?

"Stuff that rots my brain" (aka, Stephen King, etc) and recipes. I think too much as it is, so reading is a way for me to completely escape. I can get fully lost in a book, almost to the point of getting scared. I can't do that with a movie (I've been trying to find a movie that would scare me as long as I can remember. I think my dad ruined that for me by letting me watch stuff like Alien and Aliens when I was very young.)
Did you get any real spring where you live? We pretty much shot from winter to summer (it was 98 degrees here yesterday, and was hitting the 90s as early as March).

yes! NJ gets all four seasons. Winter is the best. question - is there a noticeable difference in taste between tap water and bottled water?

Sitting on the sand and listening to the sound of seagulls and the ocean. It's surprising that I do it so seldom, considering how close it is.
I'm thinking of getting a Keurig. It seems I can't make a really good cup of coffee at home. Do you have a Keurig?

Yes. I find the pre-filled cups to be a bit expensive, so I primarily use the reusable coffee filter and fill it with my own blend. The Keurig is much easier to brew a single cup vs using a larger carafe machine. Last time you went camping?

I can't remember the last time I actually went camping. We moved to Flagstaff AZ in 1974 and bought a home in the forest about 5 miles outside of town. Lived in a heavily treed area with a lot of wildlife for 20 years. Last time we went to a church camp with dorms, inside bathrooms, dining hall with a chef and a campfire in the evening was about 6 years ago. At my age, the only way to camp. LOL
Any fur or feather babies in your home? What kind, names, and personalities …….. please

so funny! the x always gets the pet at time of split breakup. She has out cat!
Comment: my x folder my underwear after laundry and put away in the drawer. then we split and I for maybe two washes just threw in the drawer. But that didn't last long before I folded myself. I just feels like the right thing to do?
question: do you fold your underwear first or just throw them in the drawer?

What socks? Other than athletic socks, I don't wear any. And for the athletic socks, I do match them up and roll each pair into a ball.
Are you happy in the city/town where you live or would you move to a different area, all other things being equal?

this seems like a trick question? LOL I am happy with the town I live in. I would move depending on the level of how unhappy I would be. Question: would you pay to use a moving company or pay family with friends to move?

I've done both: I've paid a moving company, and I've "paid" friends via gift cards and certificates. In the future, I'll do nothing but use hired help. (Knock wood I'll never have to move again.) Do you de-clutter your life as you go, wait until before a move, or neither-you hang on to everything?

As one might imagine from my avatars for the past XX years, penguins. I do have a collection of quite a few Raiders items, as well as some Asian things (chop sticks, a really pretty tray, a rice paper lamp and room divider, a really neat antique tea set and low table, etc.) Same question for a different board person: What do you collect?

The only New Year's Resolution I ever successfully adhered to was to not make any New Year's Resolutions.
Which more closely describes you: Athlete or Artist?

Oh, lord, I'm neither. Athletic, HA! But if you include enjoying museums, plays, and concerts then I have the soul of an artist.
I'm watching "Hogan's Heroes". Do you remember this show? Do you still watch it?

Vaguely. And I haven't seen it for quite some time. I remember a few of the actor's faces, and some of the pranks. What's up this weekend?

hopefully finishing digging out the flowebeds, replacing the mulch with a zero maintenance sandscape. I did a little more this morning. oh, and finding the 1TB external hard drive I bought the last time I changed jobs. I don't want to have to buy another one and I apparently bought a tiny capacity laptop last time around. ugh.
have you had any really muggy days yet this spring? today's the first bad one here.

One day last week our high in the Phoenix area was about 98 with 20% humidity … and I could really feel it. Usually our humidity level is 10% or lower and while 102 is warm, it's not unbearable. Right now it's 87 with 14%. I know, this is a SW desert problem …… Any pets in your household?

We have different colors throughout the house. Planning on painting it closer to our move/retirement time.

Phone numbers are stuck in my head for life. My son and DIL gave me an address book years ago and told me to put numbers in it in case they had to call folks to tell them I died. Now most are in cell but I still just dial it. Heck, I can remember my first phone number from 1964 when I moved here!
On that note do you have a good memory or do you have to write everything down?

I have a terrible memory and I never write anything down. What does that tell you? (rhetorical, not my interview question)
Would you rather have a 10% raise or the same pay and an extra week of vacation every year?

The raise would be nice, but it depends on a) what the tax implications of it are and b) how many weeks vacation I had prior to the extra week and c) if it's a paid vacation. Have you ever been to a funeral with a professional photographer present? Yesterday was my first experience with this and I found it odd and vastly annoying.
