Moonbeam has created the following email account, in case there should be a need for someone to contact her off of proboards for any reason. feel free to write it down.
notmsnmoney@live.com - it goes to moonbeam only.

Why would anyone feel the need to use an outside email addresss, particularly one that could be read by the ... individuals ... at Microsoft, to contact Moonbeam? Aren't "Private Messages" private?

yes commentator, they are. the reason for the email is because i have had instances where someone got a short term ban but didn't know why and couldn't even read the board to see. apparently you can't do *anything* while on a ban..anyway, i thought it would be good to have an email just for this board for people to keep just in case...
and why should it be a concern that microsoft could read email from this address any more than any of my other addresses? or anyone else's, for that matter? why would they want to?

To show us who is in charge. For the uninitiated, it should be clear that I have an extremely low opinion of Microsoft and the people who work there. To suggest I believe they are the living spawn of Satan understates the disdain I have for that organization. If you have a negative, over-the-top, incredible, illogical, unconfirmed and unconfirmable story about Microsoft, I'll believe it until someone not associated with MSFT proves it isn't true. |

Not quite. We've had a few incidents here where moderators have made public postings about certain posters frequency of using the "report to mod" function and the contents of their PMs...I saved these messages of you want to see them.

ed, i know i have complained about overuse of the report to mod button, though i didn't realize that i had named any names that weren't already being referred to by the people themselves.. nor have i ever pasted a PM onto a public thread, i don't believe. however, please feel free to PM your proof to the contrary...
regardless, what commentator is asking is "can moderators see into other members' inboxes".. and the answer is NO. we can't.

in the how to section. See the bar on the left side now that says Peekaboo Side Table? click on it, and it will pop out. in there is a link to the how to area. Click the gray bar again to pop it back in out of the way. |

to expand a bit, you have to use the full url out of the browser bar. do NOT use the one that says "youtu.be" - they don't work.
i find it easier to just type out [video src="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=video url here"][/video]
if you type it, be sure to include the / in the last set of brackets!
