so should the games be scheduled in socal & florida??? we know the game will go but how does the weather affect the fans who make it an all week party?
atlanta took a pr hit when an ice storm hit back in 2000, will dallas suffer the same?

Doubt it since they picked an outdoor stadium in New Jersey for a Superbowl site.

Ugh! I am sick of warm weather Super Bowls. Football should be about the elements and the battle. I would LOVE to see a Super Bowl in a blizzard in Buffalo or some other "cold weather venue". And, too bad if Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't want to sit out side and get her hair messed up. I disagree...a cold weather team should NEVER have an advantage in the Superbowl. The SB is one game that the weather should never be a factor in deciding...

Weather affects both sides equally. Should not matter where the game is played.

what about the financial impact to the host city? personally, if i were going to spend the kind of money it takes to attend the game and associated activities, i would much rather do it in shorts and a t-shirt then fight ice and snow

If I read it correctly, there will be no tailgating party allowed in Dallas. Games are now usually played inside. In the old days, football was a fall sport. Now it lasts from summer until Feb. More games means a longer season.

People arguing otherwise areprobably fans of teams that play outdoors in cold weather...who don't want an even playing field, they want a field that is advantageous to their team. It's kind of like people saying they want refs to call a fair game, but only if it helps their team.

I think the Super Bowl should not always be played in warm weather climates. Most of the country does not have this warm weather and Super Bowls should be played in varied climates. But how to decide I am not sure.
