Could have been half the length, but my main grievance with it is this: Everything I've read about it has stated that it was the final film in Mr. Nolan's 'reimagining' of the franchise, yet the movie blatantly sets up a sequel. It introduces new characters, even. What gives?

And Cat Woman wasn't even a villain. He should have been blown to smithereens in the end. None of this "It's a trilogy, but not really..." hokum. Let me point out some other famous 'trilogies': Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alien. Perhaps somebody can point out to Mr. Nolan what the common theme was in the first post-trilogy film released in all of these cases.

It maybe wasn't as good a movie as the original "Raiders of the Lost Ark" - but it did have some much better special effects. And "Short Round" (the little Oriental kid) and "Willie", another of the always present damsels-in-distress - had some pretty memorable as well as funny scenes and lines.

Both DH and I loved The Dark Knight Rises. I thought it was awesome. Bane's voice was the best!

It sure as hell was better than the Crystal Skull thing.

Both DH and I loved The Dark Knight Rises. I thought it was awesome. Bane's voice was the best! well that was something I had difficulty with - the voices. Banes voice was difficult to understand at times (most times and throughout the entire movie) Plus Batman voice was difficult to understand. HEY NOW! this is a good motivation to step up my surround sound? LOL - ;D
