I would love to.
I'm currently trudging through Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese (sp?) for my IRL book club. After that I'd love to start on Life of Pi

Loved life of Pi. Really made me think. However I am feeling bad because I said I would be a member of a financial book club on these boards and totally bailed when my life got crazy.

Book clubs are for fun, not another duty... I figure I give it my best shot and try o expand my book list a bit and have a little fun. My irl book club isn't doing pi till like August and I just saw the movie and really want o read it and talk about it now glad there is interest.

I'm another bad one who fell out of the book clubs.
I'll add it to my list.

I didn't really like the book, but I dislike leaving books unfinished more than I dislike reading a book I'm not into. I'll be interested to read all of your thoughts on it once you're done.

What didn't you like about it? I had started it, and liked the writing style. Then I got some books for my birthday, and I have to finish those first...people are waiting to borrow them. I intend to get back to Pi as soon as I can.

I know many people have just loved the book, don't wanna spoil if for anyone with my own opinion. sent from my electronic distraction.

I want to read Life of Pi, if I get money for my birthday I am going to purchase it for my NOOK. It has me curious. I just tried to read Cloud Atlas. .. .yeah, I can't make it past page 30. I don't get it and find it extremely boring. I can't bring myself to plow thru it and see if it gets more interesting. Perhaps the movie makes more sense?
