I used to get emails on major astrological shifts and I am currently on the email list of a Taoist Master who keeps me updated on the current Chinese Year and how it affects us.
Please feel free to post both astrological and metaphysical stuff.
Chinese Winter started Nov. 6 and we are in the year of the Black Yang Water Dragon. This actually intrigues me as to what that really means as I have owned two RL water dragons. Since it is winter it is the season of dying, letting go. Per Michael Winn, this will be an important time to ground yourself as we head into the change predicted by the end of the Mayan calendar.

Looks like all the heavy lifting for end of the Mayan calendar will be ongoing. Bunch of stuff 1/12 through 1/17 and I believe the Capricorn Moon on the 11th actually has six planets in Capricorn.
From now to year end has a couple surprises too I think. In RL weather more snow is predicted for Saturday so I'm hoping to do all my errands today instead. Like to leave the option to go to my spiritual center on Dec, 30th.

Cancer Full Moon today December 28th 2:23AM PST
This full Moon generates a dynamic t-square involving Juno, Pluto, and Uranus in addition to the Sun and the Moon. This indicates a readiness for big changes in partnerships, power, and paradigms.
The Sabian symbols for this Full Moon advise us to enjoy our roles while learning from others, but to avoid pretending to be what we are not. For the Sun at 8 degrees Capricorn: ' In a sun-lit home domesticated birds sing joyously.' And for the Moon at 8 degrees Cancer: ' A group of rabbits dressed in human clothes walk on parade; the tendency of all forms of life to imitate the higher.'
From the current issue of the Mountain Astrologer. Typos and shortening of sentences are mine.

Several shifts today in the planets. One is a "tense" Moon/Mars square about 9:47AM PST. Should be another interesting day.
