I'd say keep them. I've had to pull mine out of the closet more than once!
However, if you don't, the American Legion and VFW accept used aids. Might find use for them at a rehab facility too.

I would keep them around. You never know if your kids are going to need to use them! We had 2-3 pairs of crutches floating around our house when I was younger. Came in handy a couple of times with broken legs/feet and some bad sprains.

We have some in the closet used after a foot surgery, we are keeping them. Mom has dad's old walker, I used it once and mom loaned it to a cousin once. Now mom got a fancy walker with a seat but we will keep the old one in case someone needs one.
You could donate them on Freecycle.

Some chuches around here keep a "closet" of aides and medical supplies for the elderly so that they don't have to purchase or lease them. Perhaps there is something similar in your area.

The problem is there aren't any handy when you need them. I usually find them at yard sales and i have a two sets in the basement. But, i would ask around to friends and family. Someone can probably produce a pair.

Personally I'd keep em just in case. Along with the suggestions above, I would bet a local high school would take them. With all the sports played someone's inevitably going to hurt a leg/ankle/foot.
