We are going to Disney World in April. It's going to be an extended family trip and one of my Aunt's is turning 65 while we are there. Now this is the one in the family that always makes a fuss for "the occasions".
I have heard we need to make reservations at the eat in restaurants months in advance so I need to move on this. Which restaurant would you recommend to celebrate a 65th birthday. There will be 7 or 8 of us ranging in ages from 13 to 73.

Are you wanting to dine in the Disney World park itself? There's a restaurant along the DIsney Boardwalk called The Coral Reef - everything from seafood to chicken to steaks. disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/coral-reef-restaurant/There's also a variety of other restaurants along the Disney World boardwalk. A google search should bring up a list.

Disney in Florida? We actually liked Beni Hanna's near the Floridays which is where we stayed. We LOVE Japanese hiabachi and went there for lunch. yum. I really didn't find Disney to be overly pricey. And, at Sea World, they had some good BBQ and it was reasonable.

Why do you always do that? If I want to google I will google. I am looking for something more interactive.
I am looking for a recommendation for a good place for a family celebration. Good food, a celebratory atmosphere and it will feel special.

SL, my apologies. The Coral Reef looked wonderful to everyone and my aunt thinks it will be special enough for her birthday. I am going to make our reservation tomorrow.

I swear every time we sat down belly dancers started to dancer. ;D

Maybe late to the party, but isn't the Coral Reef the one inside Epcot, it can be crowded and noisy as it is very popular with families with small children. The one along the boardwalk is called the "flying fish". It's a higher end place, great food, and much better location for a quiet celebration.

Albert and Victoria's at the Grand Floridian. Whatever the restaurant is called over at the Contemporary resort. The paddle wheel boat over at Downtown Disney
You need to make reservations now.
